A school formal is a milestone. For most students it’s the first time they’ve dressed up properly, gone somewhere beautiful, and celebrated the end of something significant with the people they’ve grown up alongside. That deserves more than a rushed digital shot under fluorescent lighting.

How it works
Simple for schools, beautiful for students.
I work with schools and event organisers directly to plan coverage that fits the night. Whether it’s a red carpet arrival setup, group portraits of the whole year level, or candid coverage throughout the evening — it’s all discussed well in advance so the night runs smoothly.
Students and families receive their photos via an online gallery 2–4 weeks after the event, once the film has been developed and scanned. Digital add-ons are available if wider or faster coverage is needed alongside the film work.

Yes. Prints and digital downloads can be arranged through the online gallery. I can also discuss bulk print options for schools that want to offer photos to the whole year level.
Get in touch with the event date, venue, and a rough idea of student numbers. I will come back with a plan for coverage and a time to talk through the details. Everything is confirmed well in advance so there are no surprises on the night.
Yes. For formals where faster turnaround or broader candid coverage is needed, digital can be incorporated alongside the film work. This is discussed during the planning conversation.
Absolutely. I cover formals across Queensland and beyond. Travel costs are discussed upfront so schools and organisers know exactly what to expect.
Formal season — typically Term 3 and Term 4 — fills up quickly. Booking at least three to four months in advance is strongly recommended to secure your date.
